A book

 


"A bag of Bones" was written by Stephen King in 1998, its a thriller/suspense - fantastic novel wich narrates the story of a book writter who has been suffered a serie of troubles, even becomes a widower, so he decides to go living to his old summer house, wich results to be haunted. Added to this, he gets invlved with the most hideous mobster of the zone, who is trying to kidnapp his grandaughter. This is the plot in which the book takes place.

I read this book back in the 2016-2017 in my summer vacations. I discovered this book in an aunt´s house wich use to had a room only with books, so one time playing there i found this book and when I read who writte it i decide to take it home.

I like it because this whas the first book i read that really scared me and make me fell like i need to keep reading the book. After i ended it i fell like I need yto keep reading some of Stephen King´s books, which i made by reading "Carrie" and "Billie Summers".

    I've never read this book, but one of my favorites from Stephen King is Dolores Claiborne

During this break I went with my girlfriend to his village, Toquihua, to her parent´s house. I stayed there from the 9th to the 19th of September, so I was with them during the 18. Actually we didn´t do a lot because we took this week to relax, due to the high stress in coming, but here are 5 things: 1) Sleep: Same as the professor. We wake up early most of the days, so, we take the option of sleeping late most days. We really enjoyed this! 2) Cook: During the time I was there we cook a lot, from midnight cravings to traditional food like"empolvados", wich were really good! The bad part of this was that, after cooking, we have to wash the dishes, wich was awfull 3) Watch movies: every night we wacth a different movie! O ne day she picked one and the other day the pick was mine, we even saw "El Conde", which turned out to be very boring. 4) Meet her family: even tho I used to know his parents, now I meet some of her uncles and aunts, they were very nice and friendly

Miranda

The time I was in Iquique, January-February 2020, coincided with the local festival, which is free, where a lot of musicians and comedians went, including Miranda. That time I went with my parents and my brother, and although Miranda was not the show we most wanted to see, we stayed there listening to the whole show, about 40 minutes. Although I didn't think I knew more than a couple of their songs, I really enjoyed their show and could at least hum several of their songs. From that moment on I started to listen to them on a more regular basis and I hope to be able to go to another one of their concerts soon. That's the concert I enjoyed the most (I haven't been to many either) because of all the context it had: a vacation, the relaxation of the beach, the kind of music Miranda plays and everything that would come later with the covid. That day Américo was also and played "Mujeres y Cerveza" :)

Test practice

 I feel that the activity questions in general were not difficult, but there are 2 elements that overcomplicated them in my opinion: * The speed and duration of some of the audios made the exercise extremely tedious, so at least for me, I lost focus and had to backtrack, it happened to me several times throughout the practice test. * The conversations and descriptions of elements were ridiculously long, even to levels where the practicality of the language was lost and everything was unnecessarily overcomplicated. It is extremely different to a real english conversation
